MAITE DE ORBE
Maite de Orbe is an artist working with the mediums of photography, performance and moving image. Collaborating with historically marginalised and disident communities, de Orbe’s practice focuses on self-identification, blurring traditional concepts of history and truth. She prioritises love, intimacy and sensuality which she portrays by playfully combining performative and documentary styles with a fantasy-like storytelling approach.
